About the Role We are seeking a visionary Machine Learning Director to spearhead the integration of innovative ML capabilities throughout our platform. In this pivotal role, you will define and implement a comprehensive ML strategy, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to incorporate intelligence into key workflows and guide the development of sophisticated decision-making systems. The successful candidate will build a strong ML infrastructure, elevate technical standards, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence within a dedicated ML team. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the ML function, assemble your team, and significantly influence the strategic direction of our machine learning initiatives. We are looking for individuals with a solid background in applied machine learning and a demonstrated ability to deploy models in production settings. Prior experience in leading and scaling ML teams in dynamic environments is essential. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of experimentation, optimization, and large-scale data systems, with the capability to balance architectural goals against project deadlines. Exceptional communication skills are vital for engaging and influencing cross-functional stakeholders. Experience with decisioning systems, recommender systems, growth optimization, or large-scale ML frameworks will be highly valued. Travel for this position will be minimal, at less than 10%.
