We are seeking a meticulous and organized Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Orlando, Florida. The Shipping Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely dispatch of goods to our valued customers. This position involves a variety of tasks, including preparing shipping labels, coordinating with carriers, maintaining shipping records, and inspecting outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for verifying order information, selecting appropriate packaging materials, and ensuring all shipments comply with company and carrier regulations. Attention to detail is paramount to prevent errors in outbound logistics. This role requires regular lifting of boxes, typically up to 30 lbs. Safety is a top priority, and all employees are required to adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety vests and gloves when necessary. You will also assist with general warehouse duties as needed, contributing to the overall smooth operation of the facility. A positive attitude and a commitment to teamwork are essential for success in this role. Training will be provided on our specific shipping software and procedures.
