Mobile Cleaner - Supported Accommodation Macclesfield and Congleton £24,570 per annum 37.5 hours per week Enhanced DBS (Adults & Children) Required
ASE Recruitment are specialist recruiters in the social housing and social care sectors providing temporary staffing to work within a variety of 24 hour supported accommodation services and floating support services for Housing Associations and Charities across the Northwest, Midlands, and Derbyshire.
This is a full time temporary role that can become a full time permanent role for the right person.
We are currently recruiting for a
Cleaner
to work within supported accommodation services in
Macclesfield and Congleton , helping maintain a
clean, safe and welcoming environment for young people transitioning to independent living . This role plays an important part in supporting
looked-after young people and care leavers , ensuring accommodation is maintained to a high standard and prepared for new residents. The Role As a Cleaner, you will help ensure supported accommodation properties are
clean, safe, and ready for residents , contributing to a positive environment that supports independence and wellbeing. You will also assist with
void property turnaround , ensuring rooms and communal areas are prepared quickly and to a high standard for new residents. Key Responsibilities Cleaning Duties Maintain high standards of cleanliness across communal areas including kitchens, bathrooms, lounges, corridors and offices Carry out scheduled cleaning and deep cleans where required Ensure all cleaning complies with
health & safety and infection control standards Safely use and store cleaning equipment and chemicals in line with
COSHH requirements Identify and report repairs, damage, or safety concerns Void Property Turnaround Carry out
end-of-tenancy deep cleans Prepare accommodation for new residents Identify and report maintenance issues Work efficiently to minimise void turnaround times Working in a Supported Environment Work respectfully within services supporting
care leavers and vulnerable young people Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality Work closely with the
Tenancy Sustainment Officer and Deputy Service Manager Help maintain a
safe, welcoming and well-presented living environment What We're Looking For Essential Previous
cleaning experience Understanding of
COSHH and safe use of cleaning chemicals Ability to work
independently and manage tasks effectively Awareness of
health and safety in the workplace Professional and respectful approach when working around
vulnerable young people Basic
IT skills
to record tasks where required Driving license and access to a vehicle. Personal Qualities Reliable and organised Positive, approachable and professional Team-focused with a strong work ethic Commitment to maintaining high standards Why This Role Matters This role helps create a
