Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused
Desktop Support Technician
to provide first-line technical support to end users in our Brookshire, TX location. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in IT fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and a
CompTIA certification
(A+, Network+, or equivalent). Key Responsibilities Provide
technical support
for hardware, software, and peripheral issues Troubleshoot issues related to
Windows and/or macOS
systems Support users with login issues, password resets, and basic account access Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices Escalate unresolved issues to Level 2 support teams as needed Document incidents, requests, and resolutions in a ticketing system Assist with new hire onboarding and equipment setup Follow IT policies, procedures, and security best practices Deliver professional and courteous support to all end users Required Qualifications CompTIA A+ certification
(required) (Network+ or Security+ is a plus) Basic knowledge of: Windows 10/11 (macOS exposure a plus) Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) Hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, peripherals) Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work onsite in Brookshire, TX Willingness to learn and grow in an IT support environment Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a
Help Desk or Desktop Support
role Familiarity with: Active Directory (user accounts, password resets) Ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, etc.) Remote support tools Customer service or technical support background Work Environment Onsite support in an office or warehouse environment May require walking, lifting IT equipment (up to ~25 lbs) Standard business hours; occasional after-hours support may be required Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly rate or salary (based on experience) Benefits package may include health insurance, PTO, and paid holidays Opportunity for training, certification growth, and career advancement
