About the Company
Synergy Stocktaking is an independent stock auditing company specializing in the hospitality industry. Our core business is carrying out thorough, same‑day stock audits on‑site in our clients' bars and night‑clubs, providing impartial stocktakes with honesty and integrity.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking to recruit a team member to train as a Stock Auditor with the intention of advancing to a Senior Stock Auditor role within this team. The salary is scaled to reflect this, rewarding employees' progress and experience.
The ideal candidate will be mature, an excellent timekeeper, detail oriented, and have a flair for figures and problem‑solving. Strong computer skills (Windows, Excel, Word etc.) are essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required to work successfully with a diverse customer base. We value pride in the role, accuracy, precision and a logical, fact‑based problem‑solving approach.
The role is typically carried out Monday to Friday, usually starting from 8 am. Depending on the business being audited, there may be a need to start earlier to ensure a full count is completed before the business day begins. Therefore we seek candidates who are energetic, focused and well‑organised.
A full Synergy Stocktaking audit involves more than a basic stock count. By providing this high level of stock control, we analyse the results, then provide extensive feedback to the client on trends, methods of reducing loss and wastage, theft, etc. The job is result‑based, meaning the day is completed when we achieve a full result that is communicated effectively to our clients.
The analysis of the data and its communication to the customer is a core element of our business. We need someone adaptable with high attention to detail, and able to deal effectively with our clients' employees at every level, from front‑of‑house staff to financial controller.
We have structured our process so that each audit is carried out in the same manner. You would therefore need to be systems‑orientated, following our manuals and procedures from start to finish. Comprehensive training and support is provided for this at every step for those willing to engage with the process.
Dedication and persistence are some of the main attributes that our stock auditors share. We are therefore looking for someone who shares these same qualities.
