Contracts Manager

INFORM3 is currently recruiting a Contracts Manager for civil projects across South Donegal/Leitrim for a busy civils contractor. The successful candidate will liaise with clients & contractors & play a role in expanding the business.

INFORM3 has a number of years’ experience and knowledge within the Construction industry. The client believes that hard work should always be at the front of all work and they value commitment and determination. Due to continued success, they are seeking a Contracts Manager who is extremely experienced in managing civil projects from conception to completion and working to deadlines and targets.

• 
  
• Report regularly to the Directors
  
• Coordinate and manage each project ensuring that requirements and deadlines are achieved
  
• Manage Project Managers and Site Management teams
  
• Delegate work appropriately through effective communication
  
• Select sub-contractor teams
  
• Attend each project regularly, checking on progress and quality
  
• Gather regular reports from Site Management
  
• Conduct regular meetings with Site Management
  
• Be the point of contact for the Client making sure that all their requirements are exceeded
  
• Be the point of contact for emergency situations
  
• Ensure that every site member is adhered to a strict code of health & safety
  
• Attend Senior Management meetings
  

• 
  
• Degree qualified in Construction or Civil Engineering (Level 8 or equivalent).
  
• Proven experience managing civils projects, with particular expertise in road projects.
  
• Strong knowledge of roadworks specifications and industry standards.
  
• Good understanding of Public Procurement procedures and Public Works Contracts.
  
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Full, clean driving licence.
