For more information visit are expanding our innovative, award‑winning team and currently looking to hire a Construction Assembly Team Leader. Reporting to the Construction Assembly Supervisor, the Construction Assembly Team Leader leads the team of machine operators and assembly technicians in construction assembly operations at OCE.
Responsibilities
- Provides task direction to team members based on drawings and nestings.
- Plan the working day and week ahead assigning work to meet schedules.
- Reviews labour and material availability to meet schedules, addressing concerns as they arise.
- Interacts with relevant departments on scheduling of projects.
- Co‑ordinates workload schedules with despatch team.
- Records, monitors and measures quality concerns.
- Promotes a positive, productive culture amongst team members.
- Consistently developing and improving processes, systems and controls.
- Implement and adhere to relevant company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all certification requirements, e.g. ISO9001 and EN1090.
Competencies and Qualifications
Qualification in an assembly‑related trade, i.e. metal fabrication or carpentry.
In-depth technical and working knowledge of metal fabrication, welding and finishing processes.
Proven ability to interpret 3D models and technical drawings.
Practical awareness and understanding of the manufacturing environment.
Ability to lead, motivate and influence in a dynamic environment of rapidly changing workload, tight deadlines, in the context of high expectations and tight time frames.
Analytical thinker and effective communicator with decision making and problem solving skills. Efficient work‑flow, time and project management skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player. xcfaprz
You will be expected to attend training courses, seminars and business meetings where necessary to assist you in carrying out these duties.
