Facilities Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical)

My client, a well-established organisation based in Dublin 1 is seeking an experienced Facilities Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical)to take ownership of all technical Facilities Management activities across a large, high-profile commercial site.

Main responsibilities include:

• 
  
• Lead M&E and Facilities teams across mechanical, electrical, life safety and building services
  
• Oversee commissioning, handover, PPM and reactive maintenance
  
• Manage subcontractors and onsite technical trades
  
• Act as the main engineering point of contact for the client
  
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, EHS, and industry best practice
  
• Manage assets and maintenance programmes via CAFM
  
• Drive sustainability, energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives
  

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• 
  
• Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services)
  
• Minimum 5 years’ post-graduate experience
  
• Proven leadership experience on large commercial sites
  
• Strong knowledge of commissioning, asset management and FM operations
  
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
  
• Chartered Engineer (Engineers Ireland / CIBSE)
  
• CAFM, financial or people management experience
