Senior Stat Accountant

Bardenare partnering with a global tech business as they seek a Senior Stat accountant to join their EMEA team, supporting both local statutory compliance and US GAAP reporting.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of key financial processes; monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, while also driving process improvements, strengthening controllership, and helping embed best practice across global teams.

You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders across Treasury, Tax, Legal, Transfer Pricing, and international accounting teams, giving you broad visibility in a dynamic, multinational environment.

• Preparing high‑quality financial statements across multiple accounting frameworks
  
• Leading month‑end close activities, reconciliations, analytics, and reviews
  
• Preparing statutory trial balances and local GAAP adjustments
  
• Supporting external auditors
  
• Applying strong technical accounting expertise to complex transactions
  
• Partnering across global finance teams to enhance standardisation
  
• Driving continuous improvement through process optimisation and technology adoption
  

• 
  
• Experience in accounting & financial reporting (Big Four or multinational background preferred)
  
• Qualified accountant xcfaprz (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of IFRS and other accounting frameworks
  
• Strong organisational and IT aptitude
  
• Advanced Excel skills
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
  
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for automation & efficiency
