Due to the extended need for our business, we are expanding our teams and looking for some extra power on the position of Java Backend Developer to develop high-quality software using agile techniques. Ultimately, you’ll implement and maintain Java components and frameworks throughout the software development life cycle. Key responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality software using agile techniques.
• Drive technology and software development best practices into the team.
• Work with the broader self-solve portal release train, release train engineer, product manager, architects, and the product owner to understand, estimate, and refine the product backlog.
• Participate in regular demonstrations of new work to the product owners and business stakeholders.

• Must-have:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • min 1yearexperience with Java and object-oriented programming.
  • Understanding of REST APIs and web services.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.
• Nice-to-have:
  • Experience with microservices and distributed systems (Spring Cloud, Maven, Jenkins, Kafka).
  • Good knowledge of relational databases and efficient SQL querying (SQL Server).
  • Experience with version control and CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins).
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, FitNesse).
  • Ability to drive best practices and support junior team members.
