Location: One Availability at Eden Lake Elementary & One Availability at Forest Hills Elementary
Classification: CLASS LV6
Rate of Pay: $30.40
Hours Per Day: 8
Days Per Week: Monday - Friday
Start & Ending Time: 6:45am-3:15pm & 9:30am-6:00pm (This will rotate evenly throughout the summer)
Working Days Per Year: 55 days
Job Description
Hired candidates must be available to complete required training on June 11 and June 12, 2026, from 9:30 AM–6:00 PM.
Eagle Zone Summer Programming is open Monday–Friday and runs from June 15, 2026 through August 28, 2026.
Eagle Zone is closed on June 19 and July 3.
Availability requirement: Upon hire, please be prepared to confirm any pre-planned vacations. Staff must be available to work through August 28, 2026.
Qualifications Desired
- 3 years' experience working with youth preferred, but not required.
- 2 years working with youth specific to a school-age care setting, preferred.
- Successful experience working with children in groups ages 3-15 years.
- Experience in providing work direction to staff, training and development.
- Proven experience in building relationships with families, school staff, youth and other stakeholders.
- A proven commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion in youth programs.
- Evidence of strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven organization skills related to activity based learning and delivering high quality school-age care programming.
- Experience working with children with special needs and an understanding of developing accommodations for youth from diverse backgrounds.
- Demonstrated competency in conflict resolution, crisis management skills, commitment to multicultural, gender fair and disability awareness. xcfaprz
