Accounting Manager

Our client, an established, internationally operating organisation within a regulated manufacturing environment is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and develop its accounting function across two Irish entities. This opportunity is offering exposure to a collaborative, multinational business with strong links to European shared services and corporate finance teams.

Reporting within a global finance structure, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all financial reporting activities, while driving high standards across the accounting teams.

• Lead, manage, and develop accounting teams across two Irish entities
  
• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including General Ledger, AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets
  
• Maintain clean Balance Sheet and P&L accounts
  
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  
• Partner closely with Financial Planning & Control to support reporting and analysis
  
• Strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  
• Drive continuous improvement, systems enhancements, and automation initiatives
  
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, IFRS, and tax regulations
  
• Coordinate external audits and act as key contact for auditors and authorities
  
• Collaborate closely with international Shared Service and Corporate Accounting teams
  
• Partner with operational and support functions to optimise financial processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, xcfaprz Finance, or related discipline (CPA or equivalent preferred)
  
• Minimum 7 years’ accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a people management role
  
• Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and regulatory compliance
  
• Proven leadership experience within a complex accounting environment
  
• ERP experience (MS Dynamics 365 or SAP desirable) with advanced Excel capability
  
• Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and professional integrity
  
• Experience supporting ERP implementations is advantageous
