Our client is looking for a driven, commercially minded Financial Controller to take ownership of the finance function and play a key role in shaping business performance. This is an opportunity to join an established, fast‑paced, well‑run organisation where you’ll partner with senior leadership, lead and develop a finance team, and drive continuous improvement across systems, controls, and reporting. Ideal for a qualified accountant with energy, initiative, and the confidence to influence at senior level, particularly with experience in FMCG, or manufacturing environments.

• 
  
• Managing the day‑to‑day finance function
  
• Preparation of monthly management accounts including KPI reports for directors
  
• Completion of annual budgets & forecasts
  
• Management and development of the finance team
  
• Managing Cashflow, Banking and treasury, VIES, Intrastat returns
  
• Oversee AP, AR & Payroll team
  
• Ensure organisation is compliant with Taxation and Statutory obligations
  
• Year‑end Audit
  
• Ongoing development and review internal controls and processes
  
• Implementation and continuous improvement of current information systems
  

Ideal candidate will have a number of years’ experience within a quality well run business. Role will suit a pro‑active candidate who is comfortable interacting at senior levels within a business. Candidate should be a qualified accountant, with excellent IT and inter‑personal skills and a pro‑active “can do” attitude. Working experience within a fast paced, service, FMCG or Manufacturing business would be a distinct advantage.
