Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a Cyber Security and Awareness Training Support. This position operates on a hybrid model.

The successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee working 35 hours per week. This position is also based off a temporary contract, initially for 12 months with the possibility of being extended.
The hourly rate on offer for this position is €28.60 based off an annualised salary of €52,235. You can also accrue up to 30 days annual leave per annum and be paid bank holidays.
Overview & Purpose of the post
The role will involve (but is not limited to):
- Preparing, testing, deploying, monitoring the pre agreed simulated phishing exercises.
- Providing data for reports.
- Data maintenance of the simulated phishing user list.
- Working with teams from PCRS, HPSC and Screening service.
The team have SOPs for all processes and will provide training. You must be good with excel and any experience with data cleansing, maintenance, etc. would help but is not essential.
The purpose of the post is to support the CSAT Team Leader and the CSAT Senior Project Manager to deliver and expand the CSAT programme in a timely and effective manner.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
Cyber Security & Awareness Training Support (CSAT)
The position of Grade V encompasses administrative responsibilities which include but are not limited to the following:
Primary Duties
- Work as part of the CSAT team on: ongoing configuration, testing and implementation of regular simulated phishing campaigns, CSAT eLearning courses and CSAT area on website.
- Data acquisition, cleansing, management and distribution.
- Promotion of the Cyber Security Awareness and Training message digitally and via other media.
- Contributing to developing and promoting New CSAT Initiatives.
- Provision of accurate and timely data for reporting to the Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) and Management.
- Other duties as may be deemed appropriate by CSAT Team Leader.
Leadership and Service Improvement
- Ensure accurate attention to detail in own work.
- Facilitate the transfer of knowledge within the CSAT team.
- Carry out the CISO Office agreed objectives.
Human Resources / Supervision of Staff
- Engage in the performance achievement process in conjunction with your Line Manager.
Change Management
- Promote and participate in the implementation of change.
- Work as part of the CSAT team on risk mitigation and issue resolution.
- Stay abreast of emerging cyber security threats, trends, and best practices to support the CSAT team.
Standards, regulations, policies, procedures & legislation
- Work as part of the CSAT team to ensure that approved CSAT processes and procedures are developed / updated, implemented and used.
- Effectively discharge the day‑time operations, including compliance with financial regulations and all policies and procedures.
- Ensure accurate attention to detail and consistent adherence to procedures and current standards within area of responsibility.
- Maintain own knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and practices to perform the role effectively and to ensure standards are met by own team.
- Maintain own knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation e.g., Financial Regulations, Health & Safety legislation, Employment legislation, FOI Acts etc.
- Pursue continuous professional development to develop expertise and professional knowledge.
- Have a working knowledge of the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) Standards and other standards as they apply to the role for example, Standards for Healthcare, National Standards for the Prevention and Control of Healthcare Associated Infections, Hygiene Standards etc. and comply with associated protocols for implementing and maintaining these standards.
- Support, promote and actively participate in sustainable energy, water and waste initiatives to create a more sustainable, low carbon and efficient health service.
About the CSAT team
As part of the cyber security awareness programme, the Cyber Security Awareness and Training (CSAT) team develop and provide mandatory and supplementary cyber security awareness training courses for staff and contractors. Cybersecurity awareness training is a key component of the cybersecurity programme. xcfaprz Current programmes include the mandatory Cyber Security Awareness Course, the Phishing Remediation and several optional mini cyber security awareness themed courses (1‑3 minutes) on key areas of cyber security.
*This position may be subject to Garda Vetting and Foreign Police Clearance, if applicable you will be required to obtain these prior to commencing in this role*
