Extraordinary Projects need Exceptional Talent Description Tutor Perini is seeking an early-to-mid career Data Analyst to join our Data, AI, and Reporting Technologies (DART) team. This role focuses on building impactful reports, dashboards, and analytics using trusted data from our Microsoft Fabric Medallion architecture. Data Analyst
at Tutor Perini Corporation, reporting to the Chief Data Officer, your key responsibilities will include: Analytics Development: Build interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI that provide real-time visibility into project performance and operational KPIs.
Data Modeling: Create and maintain Gold Layer semantic models that ensure consistent business definitions and trusted metrics.
Business Impact: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand challenges and deliver analytics that drive decisions on billion-dollar projects.
Governance Alignment: Register reports and models, ensuring compliance and traceability.
AI Readiness: Prepare data models and analytics to ensure they are optimized for advanced use cases, including machine learning, predictive insights, and emerging AI.
Data Quality: Validate datasets and apply governance standards to maintain accuracy and reliability.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor report usage and optimize performance for scalability and user adoption.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
2+ years of experience in analytics or BI development.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Hands-on experience with Power BI report development and data visualization.
Strong proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data modeling concepts.
Knowledge of DAX.
Understanding of data governance principles (metadata, lineage, classification).
Ability to translate business requirements into actionable analytics.
Preferred Skills Experience with Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, and Medallion architecture.
Proficiency in Python, PySpark, M Query, and semantic modeling best practices.
Exposure to Azure DevOps and version control for BI assets.
Certifications: DP-600 (Power BI) preferred, not required.
