Refrigeration Engineer Technician

Crosbie Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Limited t/a Crosbie group requires multiple Refrigeration Engineer Technicians for their premises at Unit A2, Riverview Business Park, New Nangor Road, Gallanstown, Dublin 12. The salary range starts from €35,000 (€16.83/hr) to €60,000 (€28.85 per hour based on a 40-hour week. Salary will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications. The final salary offered may increase based on experience and/or proportionately to the agreed additional weekly working hours.

Job Functions: Provide service, maintenance, and reactive fault response on commercial and industrial refrigeration systems across supermarkets, hotels, cold rooms, and pack systems; support mission-critical operations in data centres and other critical environments; diagnose and resolve refrigeration and controls faults independently; work with Danfoss and other control platforms, BMS, and alarm and monitoring systems; use digital tools (tablet, laptop) to log jobs, diagnostics, and technical reports; participate in the on-call rota and respond to urgent breakdowns; collaborate as a trusted member of the service and maintenance team and mentor junior engineers when required; uphold company culture, safety, and quality standards on all client sites.

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in refrigeration engineering, including CO2 systems
  
• Proven background servicing and troubleshooting commercial xcfaprz and industrial equipment (cold rooms, pack systems, supermarkets, hotels) and exposure to data centres or other mission-critical environments
  
• Strong knowledge of Danfoss and other electronic control platforms, BMS, alarm and monitoring systems
  
• Excellent fault-finding, problem-solving, and documentation skills under pressure
  
• Strong written and spoken English with clear client and team communication
  
• Valid full driving licence
