Qualified Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Accountant to join a reputable accountancy firm in Cork city. This role is ideal for a proactive Qualified Accountant who enjoys building strong client relationships and managing diverse client portfolios and is keen to progress into the Tax space. The successful Qualified Accountant will play a key role in supporting both clients and internal teams through high-quality accounting and tax advisory work.

• Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
• Handle a range of accounting, corporation tax, and income tax assignments.
• Assist in training and supporting junior accountants as a Qualified Accountant.
• Identify client needs and deliver effective, practical solutions.

• ACA qualified, ideally operating at Qualified Accountant level.
• CTA qualification is beneficial but not essential. However, the successful candidate must be interested in pursuing this certification.
• 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience in a similar accounting role.
• Experience producing financial statements in line with current accounting standards.
• Good knowledge of FRS 102 and IFRS.
• Strong attention to detail with strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while remaining flexible and adaptable.

• Salary €55,000 – €65,000 DOE
