Construction Director

Comer Group Ireland is growing, and now it is time for our construction team to grow - we are very excited to announce that we are now recruiting a Construction Director.

This is a highly sought after opportunity for the successful candidate to join our company to lead our construction teams.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Director to take charge ensuring seamless execution from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in construction of multistory high rise residential units, too commercial units, a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale construction projects on time and within budget while effectively managing site teams and engineers.

Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills are essential. Experienced communicator, task focused, and an excellent negotiator with both internal and external partners.

• Manage a number of construction sites.
  
• Manage a construction teams on various sites.
  
• Develop relationships with relevant stakeholders, step in where necessary to lead and coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and site teams.
  
• Set clear objectives and performance targets, reporting progress.
  
• Set project timelines and ensure teams are capable and resourced to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
  
• Utilise project management tools to optimise workflow and decision-making.Liaising daily with the Managing Director on projects progress.
  

• 
  
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  
• Experience as a Project Manager with a Main Contractor or Developer (Ireland or UK)
  
• Experience on high rise developments from start to finish
  
• Strong background in budget management and cost control
  
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver complex projects successfully
  
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
  
• Minimum of 5 years' experience managing large-scale projects
  
• Experience in RC frame residential and/or high-rise construction (preferred but not essential)
  
• Fluent English (spoken & written)
