We are currently partnering with a highly respected and forward-thinking Professional Services firm based in Waterford, to recruit a Payroll Manager to join their expanding Practice. This is a newly created role that plays a key part in the firm’s strategic growth within the Outsourced Services Division.

The role will work predominantly on Payroll Advisory Issues including setting up new entities and Auto-enrollment issues. The Firm has an existing team in place that manage the processing (which this role would oversee alongside an existing Payroll Leader).
The Firm's clients would include a number of well-known high growth businesses currently expanding domestically & internationally.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience working in a Professional Services environment who is looking to work more closely with clients in providing functional advice as they grow their businesses.
The role is fully remote and has an excellent salary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing team members, including assisting with training and development of new staff and onboarding new payroll clients working with the other Payroll Manager.
- Maintaining your own portfolio of client’s payroll deadlines for processing and review.
- Overseeing the daily workflow, ensuring standard operating procedures are followed.
- Responsible for overseeing the payroll e-mail and assuring queries are being dealt with by the overall team in a timely manner.
- Responsible for assisting, overseeing and allocating workflow from the internal payroll e-mail in order to monitor and limit internal distractions.
- Monitoring the daily checklist to ensure all stages are completed on a daily basis meeting all daily payroll and banking deadlines. Check bank authorisation confirmations indicating payments processed in advance of payroll deadlines. xcfaprz
- Ensuring any necessary client follow-ups are actioned in a timely manner where the relevant information is not received.
Candidate Profile:
- At least 5+ years of Payroll processing experience
- Knowledge of Thesaurus & BrightPay required
- Knowledge of Irish taxation
- Ability to manage priorities and meet strict deadlines
