Senior Solutions Architect

As a Solutions Architect with expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of enterprise-grade solutions that modernise business processes and that meet the specific needs of clients, while ensuring these solutions align with technical requirements. This role combines strategic architecture leadership with hands-on design authority. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, delivery teams, and senior stakeholders to define scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions across the Power Platform ecosystem

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture across the Microsoft Power Platform (incl. Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse and Power Pages)
• Design scalable enterprise solutions aligned to Microsoft best practices
• Produce high-quality architecture artefacts (HLD, LLD, integration diagrams, data models).
• Define integration architecture with Dynamics 365, Azure services, SharePoint, Third-party APIs and legacy systems, etc.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and resilience considerations are embedded
• Define and implement Power Platform governance frameworks
• Implement ALM pipelines using Azure DevOps and Define security models including Role-based access, Dataverse security and Data loss prevention (DLP).
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security and regulatory requirements
• Act as technical authority across multiple programmes
• Mentor solution architects and senior developers
• Provide design oversight and quality assurance
• Review solution designs and code for adherence to standards
• Troubleshoot complex architectural and integration challenges
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Lead architecture workshops with senior stakeholders
• Advise customers on platform capability, licensing, and roadmap
• Contribute to pre-sales and proposal responses
• Support estimation and high-level solution costing
• Stay current with Microsoft roadmap and emerging capabilities (e.g., Copilot, AI Builder, Fabric integration)
• Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI, and analytics

• Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
• Ability to design and develop solutions using these tools.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and integration with the Power Platform.
• Experience with cloud architecture and deployment models.
• Experience with development frameworks and tools like .NET, Angular, and React.
• Expertise in data modelling, database design, and data integration.
• Familiarity with SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and other data storage solutions.
• Ability to integrate Power Platform solutions with other enterprise systems and applications.
• Experience with APIs, web services, and middleware technologies.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
• Experience implementing security measures to protect data and systems
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
• Understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Ability to oversee the implementation of solutions and ensure project success.
• Experience with testing and validation processes to ensure solution quality.
• Ability to conduct code reviews and provide feedback to development teams
• 10+ years’ experience developing and designing comprehensive scalable and maintainable architectures that meet business requirements and technical specifications using the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to align solution requirements initiatives with business objectives.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership and mentoring abilities to guide and develop team members.
• Skills in negotiating project scope, timelines, and resources with stakeholders.
• Ability to find mutually beneficial solutions in challenging situations.
• Change management skills to facilitate adoption of new architectures and processes.
• Understanding of budgeting, cost management, and financial planning.
• Ability to assess the financial impact of technical decisions
• Ability to balance technical excellence with pragmatic business solutions
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar.
• Project management certifications like PMP or PRINCE2 can be advantageous.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in solution architecture or a related role.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery and leadership
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft Azure and data-related technologies are a plus.
