Your mission:

The Lending Analyst position offers you in-depth insight and hands‑on experience assisting the Underwriting Team in the project management of new loan applications and active loans. You will be working across multiple disciplines, such as managing the relationship with the SME, performing due diligence on financial accounts, managing the legal documentation process, visiting and evaluating the security assets, carrying out background checks on prospective clients, analysing corporate structures for compliance with AML and KYC regulations.


You will work with both the Underwriting and Origination Teams (often across the different jurisdictions in which we operate in) to make sure that we collect and analyse accurate and appropriate information.


Furthermore, from time to time, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in other departments by taking on tasks from other teams, such as Finance, Investor Regulations, Portfolio Management and Operations.

It is ideal for a recent graduate looking for their first job in finance. We offer a full time job as an Analyst at the Irish Team in the Dublin office.


Specific Responsibilities:

Your main responsibility is to originate and manage development applications, which includes:



  • Demonstrating and documenting your understanding of each case to assist Underwriters in assessing and approving loan applications. This includes conducting financial analysis on loan applicants and their business case;
  • Performing Anti‑Money‑Laundering (AML), Know‑Your‑Customer (KYC), bankruptcy and fraud checks;
  • Being in daily contact with loan applicants, brokers and all other parties involved in the loan application process;
  • Assisting the Portfolio Management Team (including risk reviews, reviewing monitoring covenants, processing drawdowns and full and partial redemptions);
  • Conducting market research;
  • Attend client and property site visits;
  • Instructing and liaising with our valuers;
  • Instructing and liaising with our solicitors;
  • Close cooperation with the Underwriters and Originators;

About you:

  • Academic degree (bachelors/master) with excellent track record;
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English;
  • Ability to work across multiple jurisdictions in an international environment;
  • Good numerical skills and proficiency with Excel;
  • You are critical, pragmatic, proactive: a hands‑on problem solver with can‑do attitude;
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines;
  • Team player;
  • Hungry to learn and push your boundaries in a growing company.
