SimoTech are seeking a dynamic Automation CSV Project Engineer to join our growing Engineering Services team in Cork. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting‑edge industrial automation technologies while building your expertise in Computer System Validation (CSV) within highly regulated, world‑class manufacturing environments.

• Support automation project delivery activities including design reviews, configuration, testing, and commissioning.
  
• Assist with development and execution of CSV documentation including IQ/OQ protocols, test scripts, and summary reports.
  
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning activities.
  
• Support integration of equipment and control systems within manufacturing and utilities environments.
  
• Support change control processes and documentation updates throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams including Automation, Validation, IT, and Operations.
  
• Provide on‑site technical support during installation, startup, and qualification phases.
  
• Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  
• 1–3 years of experience in automation, controls, or validation support within industrial or regulated environments.
  
• Basic working knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems (e.g., Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms).
  
• Exposure to DCS platforms and industrial networking concepts is an advantage.
  
• Understanding of Computer System Validation (CSV) principles and GMP environments is desirable.
  
• Familiarity with lifecycle documentation and change management processes is beneficial.
  
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Willingness to travel to client sites.
