Your responsibilities will include verifying shipping information, preparing shipping labels, managing shipping documentation, and coordinating with carriers. A strong commitment to Safety and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. You will work closely with warehouse staff to ensure a seamless shipping process. Key Responsibilities:
- Process outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in orders and destinations.
- Create and affix shipping labels and any necessary documentation.
- Verify shipping information against order details.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and logs.
- Communicate with internal teams regarding shipment status.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and warehouse procedures.
- Utilize required PPE correctly when handling packages.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including some Lifting, up to 30 lbs.
- Contribute to maintaining an organized and efficient shipping area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related logistics role is preferred.
- Proficiency with shipping software and documentation processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of Safety protocols in a warehouse setting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform moderate physical tasks including occasional Lifting.
