Join our growing logistics network as an Inventory Control Specialist in sunny Miami, Florida. This position is fundamental to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining precise inventory records, conducting regular stock audits, investigating discrepancies, and implementing effective inventory control strategies. Your work will directly impact our supply chain, ensuring that we have the right products, in the right place, at the right time. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and a solid understanding of warehouse logistics. We prioritize a safe work environment and mandate the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), along with adherence to all safety protocols. While primarily an analytical role, there may be occasional physical tasks, including Lifting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Analyze and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Update and maintain inventory records in the WMS.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize loss and waste.
- Monitor stock levels and collaborate with procurement to ensure adequate supply.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and PPE usage.
- Support the logistics team with inventory-related reporting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in a related field is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and WMS.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform occasional Lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Understanding of logistics principles and supply chain management.
- Must strictly follow all safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
