Seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist for our Las Vegas, Nevada location. This involves conducting thorough cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, managing stock adjustments, and implementing robust inventory control measures. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to maintain data accuracy.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve all inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Update and maintain inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce loss.
- Monitor stock rotation (e.g., FIFO/LIFO) and ensure product freshness/usability.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless inventory flow and resolve issues.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including the proper wearing of PPE.
- Analyze inventory data to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role is essential.
- Demonstrated proficiency with WMS and inventory tracking software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workplace.
