Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist for our Sacramento, California location. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, managing inventory records, and implementing procedures to optimize stock accuracy. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of warehouse management systems and logistics. A commitment to maintaining a safe and organized inventory environment is crucial, including adherence to all Safety protocols and the correct use of PPE. This position may involve tasks requiring moderate Lifting and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Develop and implement procedures for inventory control and accuracy.
  • Monitor stock levels and report on inventory status.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes to ensure proper stocking.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure efficient inventory flow.
  • Participate in tasks involving Lifting and moving inventory as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with WMS and inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Knowledge of warehouse Safety standards.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting.
