Join our bustling warehouse in Chicago, Illinois, as a Material Handler! We are looking for energetic and dependable individuals to support our day-to-day operations. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials and products. You will be operating various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move goods efficiently and safely. This role is vital to our Logistics network, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders. We prioritize a safe working environment and provide all necessary PPE and comprehensive training to our team. If you are a team player with a strong work ethic and enjoy hands-on tasks, this is a great opportunity for you. This position requires the ability to perform tasks involving physical labor, including moderate to heavy Lifting , and strict adherence to all Safety protocols is mandatory. Contribute to our success by ensuring the smooth flow of materials within our facility. Responsibilities include:
- Loading and unloading shipments from trucks.
- Stocking received goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Picking and preparing orders for shipment.
- Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Conducting inventory counts and assisting with record-keeping.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhering strictly to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Properly using all required PPE , such as safety vests and gloves.
- Identifying and reporting any damaged products or equipment issues.
- Collaborating effectively with team members to meet operational goals.
