We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our growing logistics team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, counting, and organizing materials within the warehouse. A keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy are essential for success in this position. You will work closely with other departments to ensure efficient stock management and minimize discrepancies. Safety is paramount, and you will be required to adhere to all protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately record inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments.
- Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Assist with the receiving and put-away of incoming goods.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.
- Monitor stock levels and report low stock items.
- Ensure proper labeling and identification of all inventory.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Collaborate with operations and shipping teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Assist in maintaining the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk, Inventory Control Specialist, or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong data entry and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Familiarity with general logistics and warehouse operations.
- Attention to detail is critical.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of safety protocols and commitment to wearing PPE.
