This exciting role is central to our e-commerce fulfillment operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order slips and then carefully packing them for shipment. A strong focus on detail, efficiency, and accuracy is paramount. Our logistics team relies on skilled individuals like you to maintain high standards of service. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, offering thorough training and all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages for shipment according to carrier specifications.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including stocking and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use required PPE.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Identify and report any damages or discrepancies to supervisors.
- Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse/logistics role is a plus.
- Ability to perform lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and labels.
- Basic computer skills for using RF scanners.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Commitment to following safety procedures.
- Team player attitude with good communication skills.
