We are looking for an experienced and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Orlando, Florida. As a Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to safety standards. This role is critical to our logistics network, responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, optimizing workflows, and maintaining a safe and organized environment. You will be instrumental in achieving operational goals and driving continuous improvement within the warehouse. Your leadership will directly impact the success of our distribution efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse management systems, inventory control, and shipping/receiving processes. You will be expected to coach and develop your team, manage performance, and ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time. This position requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. We are committed to providing a safe workplace, and expect all team members, including supervisors, to champion safety initiatives and ensure proper use of PPE. The ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate effectively is key. Experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics setting is essential. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment and inventory management.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures, ensuring proper use of PPE.
- Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
- Manage receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Handle any operational issues and resolve them promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and the use of PPE.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to improve operational efficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
