Job Summary:
Are you an organized and meticulous individual? Our Tampa, Florida facility is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records within our logistics operations. This role is critical for ensuring product availability, minimizing discrepancies, and supporting efficient warehouse management. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating variances, and implementing solutions to improve inventory accuracy. A keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills are essential. We uphold strict safety standards, including the requirement to wear PPE, and the role may involve some lifting.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify stock rotation needs.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of inventory.
  • Identify and report damaged or expired goods.
  • Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to improve accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Generate inventory reports as required.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in WMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform some lifting (up to 30 lbs).
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree is a plus.
