This role is central to our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for locating items within the warehouse, ensuring order accuracy, securely packaging products, and preparing them for dispatch. - Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Prepare orders for shipping, staging them in the correct areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics and shipping department.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous. Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good hand-eye coordination. Team-oriented with effective communication skills. Understanding of warehouse operations and safety practices is important. Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
