Are you a skilled Forklift Operator? We have an exciting opportunity for you in San Antonio, Texas! As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise in our warehouse. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the smooth flow of materials, supporting both inbound and outbound logistics. The ideal candidate possesses a valid forklift certification, a strong safety record, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. - Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring product integrity.
- Transport raw materials and finished goods to and from designated storage areas.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of forklift equipment.
- Assist with inventory management, including put-away and retrieval.
- Maintain accurate logs of forklift usage and material movements.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear appropriate PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
- Support shipping and receiving operations as needed.
- Contribute to a safe and productive warehouse environment.
Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with valid certification (e.g., OSHA). High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. Commitment to safety and a clean driving record (within the warehouse). Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic. Understanding of loading/unloading procedures.
