Our Boise logistics center is seeking a meticulous Receiving Clerk to manage incoming shipments. This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory from the moment it arrives. Key responsibilities include unloading trucks, verifying shipment contents against order documents, inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, and accurately entering received items into our inventory system. A rigorous approach to safety is a core value; all team members must strictly follow company safety protocols and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. The role involves regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Experience in a warehouse setting and a basic understanding of logistics operations are advantageous. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect all received goods for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Accurately document all received items in the inventory management system.
- Stage incoming goods for distribution or storage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and mandatory PPE requirements.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse receiving role is preferred.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory control principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
