We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to manage the incoming and outgoing flow of goods at our Fort Worth, Texas facility. This role is crucial for our **logistics** operations, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and safely. You will be responsible for receiving inventory, verifying deliveries, preparing outgoing shipments, and maintaining accurate records. The position requires the ability to perform regular **lifting** and operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks. A strong commitment to **safety** is essential, and you must strictly adhere to all **PPE** requirements and company protocols. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders or invoices.
- Inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Unload materials from trucks using pallet jacks or other equipment.
- Store received goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and labeling.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Ensure the warehouse receiving and shipping areas are clean, organized, and **safety** compliant.
- Perform **lifting** of packages and materials as required throughout the shift.
- Adhere to all **safety** regulations and wear required **PPE**.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our **logistics** department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to perform **lifting** up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with warehouse **safety** practices and **PPE**.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of basic **logistics** and inventory management principles is a plus.
