This includes comprehensive training on proper lifting techniques, the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety vests and steel-toed boots, and adherence to all established safety protocols. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Verify inventory against purchase orders.
- Stock shelves and manage inventory locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
- Prepare shipments for outgoing delivery.
- Operate material handling equipment (training provided for some).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and audits.
- Perform lifting of goods as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
- Experience with lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and PPE.
- Team-oriented and reliable.
- Basic understanding of logistics operations.
