Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Detroit, Michigan. This role is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize losses. Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency of our logistics operations, ensuring that our product availability meets demand. Key responsibilities include managing inventory records in our WMS (Warehouse Management System), identifying slow-moving or obsolete stock, and recommending improvements to inventory control procedures. You will also play a role in ensuring that all warehouse activities, including storage and retrieval, adhere to safety standards, requiring the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to perform tasks involving some lifting and movement of goods. A thorough understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management principles is essential. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
