Are you a proven leader with a passion for warehouse operations and logistics? Our Fort Worth, Texas facility is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations, manage a team of warehouse associates, and ensure efficiency and safety. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, dedicated to optimizing workflow and fostering a positive team environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and a commitment to operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure efficient workflow for receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback.
- Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular audits.
- Optimize space utilization and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Coordinate with other departments to meet operational goals.
- Ensure proper use of equipment and adherence to maintenance schedules.
- Promote a culture of Safety and ensure all team members use appropriate PPE.
- Oversee tasks involving Lifting of materials, ensuring safe practices are followed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience with efficient Logistics strategies.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring Lifting up to 50 lbs and to be on your feet for extended periods.
