Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Accurately stock received items into designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting.
- Ensure all products are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding PPE and safety standards.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, verifying counts and documentation.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere within our logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Prior warehouse or logistics experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical activity, including frequent Lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Proficiency in safe Lifting techniques and general warehouse safety knowledge.
- Understanding and compliance with PPE requirements in all operational areas.
- Strong organizational abilities and a meticulous approach to tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are crucial for success in this logistics role.
