Job Summary:
Our St. Louis, Missouri facility is seeking a highly organized and analytical Inventory Control Specialist. This critical role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, which is vital for efficient logistics and supply chain management. You will be responsible for conducting audits, managing stock levels, and resolving discrepancies. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system inventory and physical counts.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate supply.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of all inventory items.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software effectively.
  • Generate regular inventory reports detailing stock levels, turnover, and variances.
  • Collaborate with warehouse operations staff to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend disposition.
  • Adhere to all Safety regulations and ensure proper use of PPE.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management and logistics.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related logistics role.
  • Proficiency in using WMS and other inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of inventory best practices and supply chain principles.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting.
  • Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with RF scanning technology.
