We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, and inventory control. You will manage a team of warehouse associates, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and adherence to all safety protocols. Your responsibilities include developing and implementing operational strategies, optimizing workflow, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with logistics best practices. A strong focus on safety is critical; you will be responsible for enforcing safety regulations, conducting safety training, and ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all team members. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of logistics operations. You should be adept at problem-solving, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role may involve occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities and staff.
- Ensure efficient and accurate receiving, storage, and shipment of goods.
- Develop and implement warehouse operational plans and procedures.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Enforce all safety regulations and promote a safety-conscious culture.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse associates.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Maintain accurate warehouse records and prepare performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and logistics standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Commitment to safety, including PPE usage and risk management.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
