Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Implement and maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor inventory levels and report on stock status, shortages, and overages.
- Oversee the process of receiving and put-away to ensure accuracy.
- Manage returns and damaged goods, ensuring proper documentation and disposition.
- Develop and refine inventory control procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with training new staff on inventory procedures and best practices.
- Adhere to all company policies and promote safe Lifting and handling practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related logistics role.
- Proficiency with WMS and other inventory management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Knowledge of inventory control techniques and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 40 pounds occasionally.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and the importance of PPE.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
