Are you an energetic and detail-oriented individual looking for a challenging role in the warehouse industry? We have an immediate opening for an Order Picker at our state-of-the-art facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. This involves navigating the warehouse using a pick list or scanner, retrieving items, and ensuring they are correctly packaged and staged for delivery. Your efficiency and accuracy directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall success of our logistics operations. This position requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work quickly and accurately, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. You'll be an integral part of our fulfillment team, contributing to the smooth flow of goods through our distribution center. Excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a pick list or RF scanner.
- Locate products within the warehouse efficiently.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely and prepare them for shipment.
- Stage completed orders in the designated shipping areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics process.
- Follow company guidelines to ensure product integrity and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate a strong focus on workplace safety and hazard identification.
- Must be able to perform regular lifting of items up to 30 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and order details.
- Familiarity with RF scanning equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Team player with good communication skills.
