Job Summary:
Seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, ensuring that our stock levels are precise and readily available for our operational needs. This position is fundamental to efficient logistics and supply chain management. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and reconciling inventory discrepancies, managing stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO), organizing inventory locations, and assisting with receiving and put-away processes. A strong analytical mindset and attention to detail are essential. We prioritize workplace Safety , and all employees are expected to adhere to strict safety guidelines and wear the necessary PPE . While this role may not involve heavy manual labor, there will be occasional Lifting of boxes or items up to 25 pounds. Experience with inventory management software (WMS) is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Implement and manage stock rotation procedures.
  • Optimize warehouse layout for efficient inventory storage and retrieval.
  • Assist in the receiving and put-away of incoming goods.
  • Identify and report damaged or expired stock.
  • Adhere to all company Safety policies and wear appropriate PPE .
  • Support the logistics team with inventory-related inquiries.
