Seeking a diligent Material Handler to manage the flow of goods within our Omaha, Nebraska distribution center. As a Material Handler, you will be instrumental in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse, ensuring materials are moved, stored, and accessed correctly. This role is fundamental to our logistics infrastructure. Your duties will include operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, stocking inventory, and transporting materials between different areas of the warehouse. A commitment to workplace Safety is non-negotiable, and all team members are required to comply with our safety protocols and utilize the provided PPE . This position requires the ability to perform frequent Lifting of heavy items, often exceeding 50 pounds, and proficiency in operating powered industrial trucks is highly desirable (certification may be required or provided). Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas.
- Receive and put away incoming inventory.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Ensure proper stacking and storage of materials.
- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety procedures and wear required PPE .
- Follow logistics and warehousing best practices.
