Our New York City, New York office is looking for a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our **logistics** and operations team. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, ensuring that we always have a clear understanding of our stock levels. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess strong analytical skills, and be dedicated to upholding **Safety** standards. Accurate inventory management is the backbone of efficient **logistics**, and your contribution will be highly valued. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigating and reconciling discrepancies between system data and physical stock.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records in our WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting on low stock or overstock situations.
- Assisting with the receiving and put-away process to ensure items are logged correctly.
- Identifying damaged or expired goods and initiating appropriate procedures.
- Ensuring the proper **Safety** of inventory storage, including correct placement and security.
- Using scanning equipment and other tools to track inventory movement.
- Coordinating with other departments to resolve inventory-related issues.
