We are looking for an efficient and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our logistics team in Des Moines, Iowa. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately retrieve products from our warehouse shelves based on customer orders. This role is vital for ensuring prompt and correct order fulfillment, directly impacting customer satisfaction. You will meticulously locate specified items, confirm quantities, and prepare them for the next stage of the logistics process, which involves packing and shipping. This position requires a high level of physical activity, including standing and walking for extended periods, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally. Safety is our utmost priority; you must adhere strictly to all warehouse safety protocols and consistently wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses and gloves. We seek reliable individuals who are motivated and can work effectively both independently and as part of a cohesive team. Comprehensive training on our order management system and picking procedures will be provided. This role is central to our supply chain's efficiency.
