Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Sort, label, and stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Operate manual and powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) as needed.
- Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and discrepancy reporting.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Follow established procedures for material handling and storage to prevent damage.
- Provide support for other warehouse functions and tasks as assigned.
- Demonstrate safe lifting techniques and be able to handle repetitive lifting throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 60 lbs, requiring significant lifting.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse equipment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and understanding of Logistics best practices.
- Team player with good communication skills.
