This role is critical for optimizing our logistics and ensuring that our supply chain runs smoothly. You will be responsible for developing and implementing robust inventory control procedures, conducting regular audits, analyzing inventory data, and resolving discrepancies. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and experience with warehouse management software (WMS). A thorough understanding of inventory best practices and a commitment to Safety are essential. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of inventory control within the distribution center.
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective inventory management procedures.
- Conduct regular cycle counts, physical inventories, and stocktakes.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Utilize WMS to accurately track inventory, manage stock levels, and optimize storage.
- Analyze inventory data to forecast needs and identify areas for efficiency improvements.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of inventory to minimize loss.
- Promote and enforce a strong Safety culture, ensuring compliance with all Safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless material flow.
- Prepare detailed inventory reports for management review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with WMS software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan) and advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate physical activity, including occasional Lifting.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse Safety standards and best practices.
