Are you a motivated individual looking for a dynamic role in San Jose, California? We are seeking a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our fast-paced warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring the quality and integrity of outgoing products. This position requires efficiency, accuracy, and a strong focus on Safety. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure orders are processed correctly and on time, contributing significantly to our logistics operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work independently, and committed to maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Inspect picked items for damage and ensure correct quantities.
- Package items securely for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages with shipping information.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control tasks as needed.
- Contribute to the efficiency of the overall logistics process.
- Meet daily picking and packing quotas while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and manual labor, including frequent Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety regulations.
